This component plays a crucial role in ensuring the engine's stable operation.

• Air Evacuation and Air Lock Prevention: Air can be inadvertently introduced into the cooling system during coolant filling. If trapped air pockets form, they obstruct coolant circulation, leading to inadequate engine cooling, localised overheating, or even damage. This hose directs air from the cooling system through specific pathways to the expansion tank for expulsion, ensuring unimpeded coolant flow.
• Maintaining System Pressure Stability: Working in tandem with the expansion tank, it accommodates the thermal expansion and contraction of coolant. Conversely, during cooling contraction, negative pressure within the system allows coolant to flow back through designated channels, preventing abnormal pressure fluctuations.
