The radiator water pipe (Radiator water hose) is a key component of the engine cooling system, responsible for connecting the radiator, engine water jacket, and expansion tank to form a coolant circulation channel.

 
Installation and Usage Precautions

• When disconnecting or installing water pipes, avoid forceful pulling. First loosen the clamp, then slowly remove the pipe to prevent tearing the pipe joint. When installing new pipes, ensure the pipe is fully seated in the connector groove before tightening the clamp.
• Avoid prolonged contact between hoses and high-temperature components (e.g., exhaust pipes, turbochargers) in the engine compartment. If proximity is unavoidable, install heat shields to prevent accelerated hose aging from prolonged exposure to high temperatures.
• Never apply oil, grease, or solvent-based substances to hose surfaces. These materials corrode rubber/silicone components, causing hose cracking.

 
Post-Replacement Verification

• After replacing hoses or coolant, start the engine and idle until the coolant reaches normal temperature. Inspect all hose connections for leaks while simultaneously checking that the heater system blows air normally. Confirm the coolant circulation is functioning without issues.
• After driving for 1-2 days, recheck the coolant level and the condition of all connections to rule out any hidden leaks caused by improper installation.
