Common Faults: After prolonged use, internal steel cables are prone to rust and deformation, and the cable sheath may wear and rupture, leading to jamming during door opening and closing and increased operational resistance. During door operation, there may also be abnormal noises such as 'creaking' or 'clicking', which are mostly caused by friction between the cable and the sheath or loose connections. In severe cases, the cable may break and connections may detach, directly causing the door lock function to fail, and in extreme situations, even affecting emergency evacuation. Additionally, low temperatures can cause the cable material to contract, and humid environments accelerate the loss of lubricant, both of which exacerbate fault symptoms.

Maintenance  points: It is recommended to inspect every 2 years or 40,000 kilometers, focusing on checking the integrity of the cable sheath and the firmness of connections. Regularly maintain with low-temperature and antioxidant silicone-based lubricant; never use ordinary engine oil, as it may attract dust and increase wear. When replacing, remove the door interior panel, take care to protect internal wiring harnesses, select original factory parts compatible with the vehicle model, adjust the cable tension after installation, and repeatedly test door opening and closing functions to ensure no abnormalities.
